Dramsoc presents STEREOTYPED - Demystifying Disability in Art

Emily is a one-handed actress, originally from Birmingham, now living in London. She graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts' 3 year Musical Theatre course in 2014 and since graduating has worked primarily in theatre; most recently performing in The RSC's 'The Tempest' at The Barbican this summer. As well as acting she is also a successful business owner; running her own franchise in London of the nationwide company Theatretrain; providing performing arts classes for 6-18 year olds, and leads workshops and masterclasses for students of all ages. This talk and Q&A will be led by Emily and aims to answer questions and spark discussion about disability in the arts.
